Scrolls Discussion Reasons to leave Scrolls
Hi, first sorry for my bad english. I have been Scrolls player since first week. I have loved this game, cause it was something different from other TCGs, with that strategy factor to control board. In first period, before any update, i played 2-3 hours each day, all fun, all kind people in chats and games. Sincerly, i thought this game like a seriously opponent to Magic Online and rest of TCGs online.
But suddenly the community turned off. Nobody spoke in chat, trade channels abandoned (only spammers crying), always the same decks, no new cards,... I had holidays and i left the game, thinking that a couple of weeks it would be nice to recover the enjoyment of first weeks.... Nothing, i had lost the interest, no more i got the same feeling.
Passed days. I got a Hearthstone beta, played something of Duels Champions,... I didnt miss Scrolls. I had paid for a game that gave me a lot of funny hours and thats all. Then Decay arrived, i returned, a lot of new cards, a new faction,... But nah. I didnt feel motivation to return. The rush had passed away. Maybe if we had a sealed mode...
And then we get Judgment. Unicorns, rainbows, lightbeams,... This could be the push that i needed! And then i saw a HORRIBLE sealed mode, where in the half of games u get a lot of trash cards, nearly impossible to play a stable deck, and then i hated the game, a game that i had loved a couple of months ago. Again i said "Leave rest the game, return later,..." Nothing, one and other time hitting the wall.
No reasons to return. No reasons to recommend. A failed try to TCG that gave me some funny, with a solid gameplay, but nothing more.
I know a lot of people think different to me. That Judgment is nice, that the updates are getting better,... Sorry, but me, and i think a LOT of people that PAID for this game have abandoned the boat. And other games with "free" models gets that i return one and other time. Maybe not for the reasons i show, but its real that something happen.
